Silversmithing Classes
I'm offering one-on-one evening classes at Hammer & Hand in Bangalow.
A three hour session is $280, or a series of four classes for $1000. Price includes sterling silver for a small beginner's project.
For your first session, you will choose a beginner’s project - a ring, earrings, or a pendant - and fabricate it in sterling silver.
You will learn fundamental silversmithing skills - sawpiercing, marking out, soldering, polishing, hallmarking - and leave with your very own handmade piece of jewellery.
In a longer series of classes, I will tailor the content to your interests, working toward a larger piece - exploring more advanced techniques - chain making, simple stone setting, surface embellishment techniques, roller printing, and more...
